Many health care practitioners and psychotherapists utilize yoga and stress management exercises for their own self-care and recognize these as effective adjunctive approaches for diverse physical/mental health issues. This training workshop provides a comprehensive curriculum as it pertains to professional counseling, therapy and the values and ethics of the healing arts.
- Understand the emotional, and biological benefits of stress management practices for physical/mental health care (chronic health, trauma, addiction, family & relationship dynamics)
- Learn and practice how breathing, movement, and meditation can rebuild neural pathways in the brain for new behaviors and relapse prevention. No Yoga experience necessary.
- Understand the importance of case conceptualization for diverse settings and populations.
- Integrate and include the evidence based benefits of incorporating the FUN™ Program, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma, mindbody, and movement therapies into the clinical session.
This didactic and experiential workshop is open to all Psychotherapists, Clinical Social Workers, Mental Health Counselors, Addiction Professionals, Trauma Experts, Yoga Therapists, Health Coaches & More.

Workshop Fee: $350
After October 3rd, 2022, fees increase to $400 Workshop includes CEs for mental health professionals (LCSW, LMHC) and certified addiction professionals (CAP). Please wear comfortable clothes to keep you warm in an air conditioned conference room, bring a Yoga mat (if you have one) along with eye covering (such as a washcloth), and a blanket or towel (to keep warm during relaxation exercises). Lunch will be on your own. Refreshments will be provided.
Workshop will be held in person only, unless COVID spikes and CDC guidelines change for Health Care Facilities. Participants will be notified. Course then will be offered online. Attendance at all sessions is required.
